“I wanted to see what would happen if my listeners got the chance do really dive deep into the track, and even make their own versions, remix it or just customize the song however they like. I’ve often times wished i had stems for my own favourite artist’s songs, to just see how they produce and to play with the sounds for myself.” Isabella Dayyani explained on the release of the stems for her own single, Blink Twice.

Yambient Presents: Music For The Modern Office with GENTS

Yachtvej publishes, on the 24th of March, a new sub-label; ‘Yambient’ which will be an outlet of experimenting bodies of work in the category of ambient sounds. 

We’re starting off with a series of five albums with functional music, all under the name Yambient Presents. There will be reach-outs widely through the danish music community, and the series will therefor not be made exlusively by Yachtvej artists.

The first album of the series is ‘Music For The Modern Office’ by the Copenhagen based, self-proclaimed spa-pop-kings GENTS. The title and concept is proposed by Yambient. GENTS got the assignment of making a piece, able to function in working situations in the space of the office.

The artwork is made in collaboration with illustrator Tobias Boesen, who will illustrate all of the Yambient Presents-series.

The album is out today, 24th of March 2023 på Yambient / Yachtvej.

GENTS - sweet nothings is out today! It's got Ninna from labelmates Ganger singing sweet choir, so hurry up and check it out below! It's the third single from their upcoming album, 'souvenir and we're happy to announce, that the release date will be.. February 25! 🦑

For the release, we're working with kick ass Berlin label Mansions and Millions, who will spread the GENTS love all over Germany, Switzerland and Austra. Europe takeover incoming!

New single, ‘gimme’, album announce and tour

The cat’s out of the bag.. We’re releasing GENTS’ next album! It’s called souvenir and will be out in February 2022.

It’s a great record and we can’t wait for the world to listen to it.

They’ve also dropped a new single, the anthemic ‘gimme’, which will take you to outer space with swooning synths from Theis and another heartfelt piece of cyber croon from Niels.

Third and last, the guys will be doing a tour of Denmark to support the album. Check out the dates right here:
